Well, the hope is that everyone will lose interest
and then I can get everything for myself cheap! 
(And mysteriously, little degradation will have
happened!)  ...I wish ^^;;;

Predicting the future is difficult and could be
embarassing later on, but I guess I'll give it a
guess.  ;)   I think that production art in the
form of the various types of sketches will
continue.  We're already seeing that happening. 
Also, while I don't follow Western animation, it
appears to be happening there too, and for a
longer period of time.  Perhaps collectors of
Western animation can shed some light/experience?
 I think there will always be some with an
interest in animation.  Even when douga
disappears, perhaps hand storyboards will still
exist... harder to get the originals though. ^^

I think when I die, I'd like to see my cels go to
people who would appreciate them, friends and
family first and then I guess selling them off to
fund friends and family or charitable
organizations.  I really do need to keep a file
somewhere indicating who, what, when, where, and
approximate value... along with maybe start bid
and eBay options ;)  

*eyes friends suspiciously* er... don't kill me
just yet... still plenty to sort out!
