Just thought I'd share a photo of Steve enjoying 
the aforementioned benefits of modern veterinary 
pharmaceuticals.  ;)


 
He purrs madly if you get your hand within a 
foot of him, and he squawks instead of meows.  
*grin*  Heck, I don't even know if he sees me, 
or if he's hallucinating a giant, dancing roast 
chicken.  We'll be bringing him home on Friday 
afternoon or Saturday morning, and if he's good 
about not licking his sutures, he might even get 
to avoid The Dreaded Neck-Funnel.  We'll also 
get the biopsy results back around the same 
time, and I've got every finger crossed for a 
clean bill of health.

Also a quick note -- if you made offers on cels 
or sketches, I'll be responding to everyone 
tonight after work.  I'm accepting about 90% of 
them, and am thrilled to say it should cover the 
estimated test, surgery, recovery, and 
medication fees.  ^__^  (With just a bit left 
over, and a couple of friends with recent pet 
troubles of their own will soon discover what I 
plan to do with that leftover bit... *insert 
evil laugh here*)

I'm sure there's a Japanese word for that 
really, really deep bow of gratitude and 
respect -- whatever it is, you can picture me 
doing that right now.  Domo arigatou gozaimasu!
