Ah, this is an easy one...
You've all seen this one before, but it fits the 
topic perfectly.  Eva was the series that got me 
hooked on anime (yeah, DHY and FY actually came a 
little later).

Never thought I could afford a cel of Asuka in 
her plugsuit, and certainly not from "Asuka 
Strikes!", and certainly not from when Shinji is 
attempting to "think in German".
