From what I feel and what I've read in the past,
the holiday shipping delay usually starts a couple
weeks before now and is variable depending on to
and from addresses.  (I can definitely tell you
there are delays in the form of long lines at my
post office. ^^; )  I've also gotten things
incredibly fast in this time period so it might be
random slowness. Of course, in your case recent
inclement weather may  create a bit of a back up too.
