I almost always still watch anime for the anime. 
When I add something to my wishlist, I go back to 
the anime for episode/scene details, but *never* 
make wishlist notes when watching a series for 
the first time, and don't usually do so as I'm 
rewatching. (If it doesn't stick HARD in my mind 
after the TV is off, there's no reason to call it 
a "wishlist" cel.) However, refreshing a favorite 
series in my mind by rewatching, means a shopping 
spree is generally an immediate danger. ^_~

But I always notice my cels when they flash past 
the screen, and if paper and pen aren't far from 
reach, I will make episode ID notes for previously
unidentifed cels. That's usually the only way I 
can find them, since I shop so heavily for scene 
that if *I* don't know where it's from, it means 
the cel is proably a common pose or character. 
Thus it's rare for someone else to know off the 
top of their head either. . .
