Ironing is probably a bad idea. Plastic reacts to 
heat differently than paper does, even if it's 
low heat and no steam. I probably wouldn't mind 
doing it to a sketch, if I put a few layers of 
something to buffer between the sketch and the 
heat source; and I would iron with the reverse of 
the sketch closest to the iron. 

But I wouldn't do it to acetate.
