And it looks just great. :) If you're designing 
at 800x600 you're using the safest resolution. 
If you're designing at that size you know you're 
going to fit on just about everyone's screen. 

You can even check different resolutions 
yourself by changing your settings under display 
on a PC (I'm not too sure where the settings are 
on a MAC). When designing a page I'll often 
times change the resolution on my screen to 
800x600 just to make sure I don't start making 
the layout too large.
