Publishers and filmakers have battled the 
obscenity laws in American for more than a 
century. It is still happening today. It will be 
up to the high court of Japan to determine just 
how far they are willing to bend. It is important 
that these things happen every so often in order 
to show that the court system is a living entity 
rather than a piece of parchment in a hall 
somewhere. I think it is too early in the process 
to start crying censorship. Give the folks in 
Japan some time to go through their process and 
then see what happens.
