I received a cel yesterday that to say the least
was not packaged very well. It was simply the
cel inside a single postal envelope. There was
no padding, no hard boxes, not even a "Do Not
Bend" note on the envelope. And the best part
was, the cel is stuck to the sketch (which, by
the way, is not a problem - I knew that going
in), and to make the sketch fit into the
envelope, the seller folded the top 1/2 inch or
so of the sketch, right through the registration
holes. Luckily that fold was the only damage
that I can tell.
Now, I wasn't terribly upset because this cel was
not very expensive - it's about a quarter of my
average price (which in itself isn't that high
compared to some of the posts I've read around
here). But, my question is, what do I do about
the feedback for eBay? I don't think this
warrants negative feedback, but I was thinking
maybe a neutral feedback. But I don't want to
hurt someone's reputation. I noticed from the
seller's rating that they are fairly new to the
process, (yes, I knew ahead of time there was a
risk of something like this) so maybe they just
don't know any better. Should I contact them
before leaving the feedback, or maybe just
contact them and not leave any feedback. Or
maybe I'm making too big of a deal out of it and
should do nothing. I just think it might be a
good idea to give the seller some suggestions so
the next time they ship something it doesn't get
trashed in the mail.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
