How long does one wait to prod a fairly large 
and prosperous dealer for a response on an order?

I placed an order via email as directed, 
including name, address, and vital statistics 
(ok, payment info and cel number) a few hours 
after a recent update from said dealer.

It's been well over a day, close to a day and a 
half, now, and I haven't heard a thing.  Double-
checked to make sure I actually hit the "send" 
button -- stranger things have happened -- and 
so forth.

However, I don't want to send a duplicate 
request if it's going to tick someone off.  Is 
it considered rude, for example, to ask before 
some particular time has elapsed?

Thanks for any input.  If there had been some 
indication that this person was being flooded 
with emails and would take awhile to respond, I 
wouldn't even worry about it.  But...
