Many, many, years ago, in that distant year of
2001, I made the mistake of bidding on two t-
shirt auctions from this person. I was still
rather naiive to the whole bootleg t-shirts
thing, and didn't realize they aren't official
merchandise. I bid on two Weiss Kruez shirts, and
sent out payment within the designated time.
Weeks passed, and I became anxious. I e-mailed
the seller and was given a 'we're experiencing a
few things that are slowing down the sending
proccess' reply in return. Being a patient
person, I accepted this and waited some more.
Before I knew it, it had been so long since I'd
won the auction that I was no longer able to
leave feedback. I wrote one last polite e-mail,
explaining my dismay at the fact that months had
past since I'd put in my order.
In the end, they ended up giving a third *free* t-
shirt for my trouble, but needless to say I was
soured from ordering from then again. Seeing as I
now know the whole deal with bootleg shirts, this
isn't a bad thing at all. |
