Tsk. No flame, but take the advice I always give 
myself when I start to boggle at what someone 
else paid for a sketch/cel/etc: Worry about your 
own finances. Different people are in different 
financial situations, with different longterm 
goals, and different things they can afford.

Not everyone is interested in having children (I 
know I have no intentions for any) and it is not 
an inevitable fate that people will lose interest 
in their collections and want to resell. I don't 
know about others, but if I'm even thinking about 
resale value when I buy or bid on something, I 
know I'm buying the wrong thing.

I'm not going to pretend that's a small amount of 
money. (It wouldn't be to ME, that's for sure!) 
But if Evil can swing it and wants to, who are 
you (or I, or anyone else) to be raining on her 
parade?

The only time I rain on someone's parade is when 
I know for a fact that they can NOT afford it -- 
that they're shooting themselves in the foot by 
running up credit card debt or constantly living 
from paycheck to paycheck just to pay for cels. 
From all I know, Evil is not in either of those 
catagories.

Like I said, no flame. . . Just something to 
ponder before stomping on someone's fun.
