mine's been scripted for ages.  didn't bother to 
write my own code, but instead found something 
nice on sourceforge (called slooze) and went to 
town modifying it to suit my needs.  don't know 
how rubberslug works, so i can't tell you if it's 
easier or not, but half the fun with slooze was 
tinkering around to get things running.  (it can 
run from either text files or a database -- i'm 
on database currently, but have done both.)  
either option allows for easy back-up/transfer to 
another server, as i've just had to do because of 
the f2s fiasco.
