She might have denied it if it wasn't a confirmed 
address. Was it? did you send it with a confirmed 
address? If not, she might have refused it 
because she wouldn't have been protected. 

I've had no problems at all with Paypal, so can't 
understand the whole problem with them is about a 
lot of people are having. I signed up with them a 
long time ago too, so maybe that is why. *shrugs* 
Dunno, everything I've done with them has been 
easy and smooth. *shrugs* Just don't like the 
fees, but who doesn't.
