How on earth do people price cels that they have
decided to put up for sale? Usually I base it
off of what I've paid for it. However, I have
really shotty records due mostly to a computer
crash & the mistaken belief that I would never
part with them so I wouldn't need the information
I don't have anything before Sept. of 2000.
With the exception of some high priced Sailor
Moon cels (think 500$+), I can not for the life
of me remember what I paid for cels.
I've "shopped" around (i.e. looked at other
galleries for prices) but the prices are skewed.
In some cases I can't find any cels from that
series on sale, they have all been sold & the
prices deleted.
Obviously I want to get a fair price for it, but
what is a fair price? How do people base that if
not from the price they paid for it? From
experience I hate the "make an offer" thingy, but
at this point I can't really slap a price on it
like it was a garage sale.
whew! My email is ryen@ryen.net if you would
like to take this offlist.
Thanks!
