I'm in the same boat. I didn't start collecting 
for the art, or to impress people. (Heck, no one 
I haven't met here cares about my collection - 
and I didn't find this place until after I'd 
started collecting.) I started collecting because 
of the anime. I still do. . . Often, when I don't 
have time to watch anime, my collecting habits 
cool off.

What drives me nuts more than missing a neat cel, 
is not having a chance to sit down and watch some 
good anime without watching the clock, or
fast-forwarding through openings/endings because 
otherwise I won't get to finish an episode. ~_~ 
There are a number of thing I hate rushing in 
life and anime is right next to chocolate ice 
cream on the list. ^_^

Of course, when missing out on things, it helps 
to have one spectacular cel that is incredibly 
special to you. Whenever I start feeling like I 
miss out on everything. . . I look at the cel 
below. Only one other cel I've even *tried for* 
in the whole time I've been collecting gives me 
the pleasure that this one does. I can look at it 
and honestly be unable to think of *ANY* cel in
*ANYONE'S* gallery or in *ANY* online store known 
to the Forum that I like better than this one. 
Whatever it was I lost out on always pales in my 
mind compared to this. (*dreamy gaze*)
