Really depends on what you are looking for in a 
con.  Guest wise Fanime is completely complacent 
with having the same guest list year after year.  
In that department they get 2 thumbs down from me.

Dealers room wise is pretty good.  The room has 
gotten bigger each year and more and more stuff 
shows up in the room.

Personally for me Fanime is about meeting up with 
friends.  Having a lot of friends that live in 
the Bay area makes the show a lot of fun.  A lot 
of cel collectors do go to the show so the social 
aspect of the show is really fun. If it weren't 
for this reason, I would have no desire to go to 
that particular show anymore.

After attending the gripe session last year, and 
hearing their comments I lost a lot of faith in 
the show.
