"And frankly...FY is older
than dirt..if people havent seen it yet, they
probably werent interested in it in the first
place, and wouldnt like it anyways..."
-->As someone pointed out before, not everyone in
the whole history of the world knows about
Japanese anime. Further, of those who do - there
really is only so much time and money available
to watch ALL the series you're interested in
exactly when you want to watch them.
No, I have not seen FY yet. I've wanted to, but
I'm kind of busy working my way through school,
cultivating interpersonal relationships, and in
general making something of myself. I *am*
interested in it, but I am far more interested in
paying the bills, studying, and earning my
Bachelor's degree. I apologize if this makes me
an utter loser and deserving of your disdain and
condescension. It is amazingly ignorant, pompous,
and close-minded to make assumptions about
others' based on your personal opinion and habits.
No, the world is *not* going to end if I see a
freakin spoiler about an anime I haven't seen
yet. But as a common courtesy to other people who
may be watching a series and *not* wish future
plots to be revealed to them, I keep my mouth
shut or warn them first. It's something called
common courtesy. Also known as "being
considerate" of other fans. Maybe you can still
invest your time and/or money on watching an
anime series after you know major plot points,
but many people can't.
Based on your post, I wouldn't expect you to know
anything about that.
"Makes me wonder..do people in Japan consider
mangas big spoilers? They read the story before
the anime comes out...hmmmmmm.."
-->That's different. You read the manga by
CHOICE. And does everyone in japan read the manga
before an anime of the same title comes out?
That's like saying you've read every book that a
film has been made out of in the last 10 years
and saying that there were no differences between
the book and their film adaptations.
