i personally think as is the best manga 
written/illustrated... kaori yuki is a goddess. 
entirely personal thing. ~_^ but if you liked 
the anime, like gothic stories, and aren't of a 
delicate constitution, then the manga is worth 
buying, if only for the art! hell, i can't read 
that much japanese either. not to say i don't 
try... "'se-tsu-na...' setsuna! i got it! um..." 

as for cels... if you're particularly artistic 
or obsessive, there are fantastic manga drawings 
of kira that one could turn into cels if one had 
half a mind to. i've only seen one fancel of him 
so far... and much to my dismay it wasn't even a 
particularly enticing scene from the anime! 
that's far too few, ne?
