stimuli cause his body to temporarily reabsorb 
that parciular bodily protrusion so that something 
elsewhere can protru----uh, sorry.

At any rate, she must think it's really cute.  Why 
else would she stare at exactly where his 
proboscis ISN'T???  LOL.
