I go the other way; I do prefer the subbed 
version, but then I am studying Japanese and it 
helps to hear the language on a regular basis.  
(I watch the news too!)  But usually after a 
viewing or two in Japanese I will watch it 
through dubbed just so I can take a closer look 
at the artwork.  Hopefully one of these days I'll 
understand enough of the original langauge that 
the whole dub/sub decision is moot! :)
