I know a few of us are going, and I don't see
anything cel-related on their panel or programming
guides. I just e-mailed them to see if they would
be interested.
I don't feel knowledgable enough to run a panel,
but I know SOME of you would be great at it. (We
don't even need a high-ranking mad scientist of
cel collecting or anything.....an evil minion
might do.) ;-D
And even if a panel wasn't feasible, just having
five or ten collectors together with their
collections would be impressive. If I could get a
commitment from that many people, I could just
publicly post our meeting place and time and
encourage interested parties to stop by and take a
look.
The big question here is, how do you feel about
having the general public paw at your cel books?
A panel would keep them at a distance, but a
public gathering would have them in there flipping
pages.
Of course, we can always do this quietly and
privately, like last year. I just thought it
would be neat to contribute to the Con and share
our treasures.
Please post replies here or e-mail me.

PS---Don't be intimidated by the idea of a panel.
NONE of the panels I attended last year were
particularly impressive or well-run. I think we
could do a good job! |
