The "water trick". . . How to prevent sketch wrinkling? (Sun Apr 14 03:10:27 2002 )

So lucky! I found a cel of Bloody Akiko (from
Nuku TV) in Chaos's misc section. But it's backlit
and thus is *VERY* stuck to it's matching sketch.
As in, they might as well be glued together. ;_;

The sketch is a full one, so I *REALLY* want to
have it separate from the cel. My only chance to
get them apart is the "water trick". But the
image area is large, and whenever I've used
said "water trick" in the past, only sketches
that had small stuck areas came out unwrinkled.
For sketches with large stuck areas - which needed
more water - no amount of ironing or pressing in
a book would defeat the wrinkles.

I thought I'd read here once that someone else
had figured out how to keep the sketches from
wrinkling, but I can't find the post now. . .
Does anyone else know?

Thanks in advance! ^_^;;

Many Sharp Smiles,
--Drac (see? there she is! ^_^)
