Yep! Not only does he has the hairband and long 
hair, as well as the genga coloring that's 
present nowadays in CG anime, especially Saiyuki, 
but he also has two important defining factors: 
The double-plied eyes (which are very 
characteristic of Kazuya Minekura's style), i.e. 
the two "eyelash tails" that his eyes have...this 
trait is important because it points him out as a 
half-youkai. Also, the scars on his cheek; time 
and again they are referred to in the anime, as 
they were inflicted by him mother when she had 
the worst of her little "fits".
