Hi!
Here are two other German Cel Collectors! And
even from Munich! ^_-
And I know at least one other - a friend of mine.
But first let me introduce myself:
We, that is me and my fiancee, are fairly new to
this hobby: we started
collecting cels at our trip to Japan this
August/September (- though it was
our third time visit...) ^_^;;
I thought that I never ever will buy any cels,
but then, my fiancee found me
one from one of my favorite series (Wakakusa
Monogatari Nan to Jo Sensei or
as it is known in Germany: Missis Jo und ihre
froehliche Familie) and I came
back with about 30 cels (also from other series
not just the above) to
Germany ... And of course, now, I am an addict,
too... ^_-
My fiancee herself bought cels from Idol Project
and Shounen Mogli - you can
see them in her Gallery: www.mangaarchiv.de
(sorry, in german only... You
find them in the "ueber mich" section, there is a
button "cels")
Unfortunately I have no gallery, but I am working
on it. ^_-
The idea to go to a 100Yen shop in Japan is in
fact very good! We did so,
and are very happy with our Celbooks!
Back in Germany there came the time, that the 2
celbooks I bought where full
and I had to buy a new one: what I did is this: I
went to Kautbullinger (a
very big bureauarticles shop in Munich) and
bought a DIN A3 "Showfolder"
(with space for 40 Cels and for only 18,- DM!!)
which is great for oversized
cels and also ok for the normal ones.
Unfortunately I heard, that it would
be pretty impossible to buy DIN B stuff in
Germany... Therefore you might
have to go to Japan or else, where this norm is
sold.
To darky: is it possible that I have seen you in
the Neo Tokyo? Have you
been there on that friday, when a friend of mine -
the other cel collector I
know - showed off with his newest OMG cel?
I have been lurking for about three months now,
and finally I made it to
post myself! ^__^
Btw, my friend also has a nice celgallery:
http://www.jasms.de/galerie/g01.html ( and here
are great informations about
cel production:
http://www.jasms.de/d_bank/cell01.html also,
german only.)
It is great to know, that there are at least some
german cel collectors!
baibai,
Johannes+Sarah.
