This set was up for auciton on Ebay. A friend of
mine bid on it for me and when we won, the seller
demanded payment to be sent by ONLY Western Union
(which cost $30 to send to Singapore). The
instant after payment was sent, they never picked
up the payment, never sent the cels, never even
wrote back to us. No further contact despite
repeated e-mails. At least the money *was* sent
by Western Union and so I was able to recover the
payment itself - but now they're asking only
cash?? I wouldn't bid - you're only asking for
trouble.
I have this person's Ebay ID written down at
home - not with me here in Ohio.
Write to me privately and I can provide ample
proof of the non-deal that resulted from winning
this *exact* item (the pair of cels) on Ebay. And
I will give you their Ebay ID. I think this
person feels they simply won't be noticed trying
to auction it this time if they don't say
anything here. (I was announced before! Look for
it in the archive by looking up posts made by me
and you should be able to find it.)
Further, I guarentee you that the reserve is not
less than the Singapore equivalent of $220US
since that is about what this person paid for the
cels. It's probably higher since the first time
they tried listing these cels on Ebay, they tried
to get $450 for them.
Stay away! This person is trouble!!
Many Sharp Smiles,
