Hiya. I'm the admin guy at RS.
From a purely technical standpoint, the pages are
all more or less coded the same. In the future, I
hope to be able to provide a few more default
templates.
From a design standpoint, you can do some clever
design things with the site. The current default
template has two assumptions
a) if you do nothing to it and pick from preset
colors, anything you do will look pretty neat.
b) removing elements from the template is easier
than hand-coding them yourself
That being said, you can remove or replace the
borders completely as well as add or remove
background elements. The content (text/cels) will
have the same general shape but the look of the
page can be entirely new depending on how much of
a web design you want to tackle.
Here's some random examples of sites that make it
harder to guess that they came the default
template: (should open in new window so you can
go back to messages)
A Tribute to Chocolate
SZKU Nuriko cels!
Plastic Future (plug!)
In the works is a tutorial gallery that
encompasses some of the newer features and shows
ways to take advantage of the modular template
design. I'll try working on it as soon as I'm
back in my hometown...
Hope that helps.
