First, Kylen, I think your gallery is great.  I've 
never seen The Dog of Flanders, but now I'm 
interested.  Your cel of the boy hugging the 
dog is just too adorable!

Now, regarding "the bandwagon,"  I don't see 
how collecting cels from a popular show is 
somehow unoriginal.  You like what you like, 
whether it's Dragonball Z or some obscure 
title that never even made it to fansub.  Maybe 
I'm being naive, but it seems ludicrous to me 
to collect a show because it's the "flavor of the 
month," so to speak.  Do people really do 
this? Especially in the case of Cowboy Bebop 
and FY. You better have a strong love of a 
series that is as expensive to collect as those 
are, and not just a passing interest. 

Oh well, I guess I can only speak of my 
motivations and not those of others. And I can 
tell you that I love Cowboy Bebop no less than 
Kylen loves The Dog of Flanders.  I'd like to 
think that I didn't spend the last two year's 
worth of time, money, and energy just to join a 
"bandwagon." 

One other thing:  In terms of the online 
collecting climate, I think that Bebop and FY 
are two different animals.  Quick--name 6 
online galleries with more than 5 FY cels. 
Now, name 6 online galleries with more than 
5 Cowboy Bebop cels.  Not as easy, is it?
