Yes, yes, you've all seen it before, but here's 
WHY it's so special to me.

I saw the most amazing Dark Schneider cel on a 
dealer site about 14 or 15 months ago, and just 
fell in love.  ^_^  We were pretty tight on cash 
then, so I had to wait and put together the money 
for it.  Every couple of days, I nervously went 
back to the dealer page to make sure it was still 
there... I'd just CRY if somebody else bought it 
before I could.  But it was still there... and 
still there... and a couple of months later, in 
mid-December, I finally sold a couple of 
Ranma cels and had the cash I needed.

Triumphantly, I pulled up the page to order... but 
the cel was already sold.

I was crushed.  My hubby, bless his kind heart, 
was extremely sympathetic -- he doesn't collect 
many cels himself, but is terribly tolerant of my 
hobby and always celebrates the good finds with 
me.  Together we poked through the dealer sites 
and found ANOTHER Dark Schneider cel, not as 
dramatic as the lost one, but with a marvelous 
expression and right around the same price.

And the lovely new Darshu cel was purchased and 
came home, and I thought to myself that even 
though it wasn't the one I had originally wanted, 
it meant all the more since it was something we 
picked out together.

So imagine my surprise a week later, on Christmas 
morning, to discover exactly WHO had purchased the 
original cel.  ^_~

I could have killed him.  *grin*

Oddly enough, Bren's expression when I opened the 
package was practically identical to Schneider's 
evil grin on the cel itself.

So here the damn things are, side by side as they 
will someday hang on the wall of my office... and 
the day I let go of either one is the day they can 
declare me legally dead.
