(Anyone who has no idea what license plate saxxy
is talking about can find a pic at the link
above. I link to it in the intro text on that
page.)
While the plate used to be on my car, these days
it's on my wall. I no longer live in Virginia.
I had to bribe someone at the DMV to allow me to
keep the plate -- it's the law in my new home
state that the DMV cannot give you new plates for
your car until you turn in your old out-of-state
tags. (This helps prevent crime / stolen vehicle
problems.) I wasn't willing to give them up
without a major fight, though. ^_^ Luckily I
managed to come out of the battle with one of my
two original VA plates.
I no longer have personalized plates since they're
a lot more expensive here. ^_^; They were only $10
more than a regular plate in VA! But someday I'll
save up and get that plate again. It was a real
conversation starter, that's for sure, especially
when I parked next to Buford's car... His license
plate says XELLOSS. ^_^ |
