Well, I thought they looked a little funny too, 
that's why I posted here for suggestions. Thank 
you for your feedbacks. I took the backgrounds 
off, now they look more "cel like."

And to Celtyant, if you have Photoshop, you don't 
need to trim the edges manually, just use 
the "magic wand tool."
