well, i guess the quickest thing for me was to 
make thumbnails.  well, i don't know how much 
faster it'll load with everyone else's 
connection, but it's slightly less slow on my 
crappy one :p  for whatever reason i don't want 
to attribute this to my connection, because it 
was never this slow before...  maybe now there'll 
be less annoyed sighing when someone drops by, heh
