This one was from early last year, but I still 
smile when I think about it.

I fell madly for a cel of an obscure but 
personally beloved anime character (Zell from 
Leda) on a dealer's site.  Wrote a panicked note 
hoping to buy, but was too late -- the dealer's 
wife had decided to keep it herself.  Heh.

However, I'd included my site URL on the mail, and 
the dealer in question visited my wishlist, and 
said "well, I DO have a nice Zaha Torte cel here 
in inventory..."

Woooooo!
