Photoshop 5.0 is the program. The newer versions
may do this a little differently, but the making
of the banner should not be that difficult.
Start with whatever background color that you
want. In this case black.
Go to the filter/render/lens flare and that is how
you make the corona light effect.
In regards to the text, add it as a layer and
switch it to partial transparancy (I think 60
percent in this case). I also in this case
selected inner glow and inner bevel (depth of
bevel was modified to get the level of distortion
I wanted). Color I believe was grey.
In regards to the gally image, took a large image
scan and pasted it on a transparent canvas. I then
cut away the white space and then resized the cel
to fit it on the banner. I then dragged and
dropped her onto the banner itself.
Then flatten the whole thing and convert to a jpg
to reduce size to something managable (13k in this
case I believe).
Let me know if I can be of any other help,
