800 DPI??? Whooooooh, that is way too high a
resolution. Not only will it make the images too
large for your page, but most online webspace
hosts will not allow images that big...or they
will, but only a few. I scan all my cels in at
72 dpi, and it's usually very good, and they are
nice and easy to load too :) Umm, that might
have something to do with your images being
discolored, but I dont know really. It also may
be the format you save in too. Do you save them
as jpg's or gifs? Jpg's are better for stuff
that you want to look good, while gifs are
restrained to web safe colors, which are not a
lot. So, it will cause banding and stuff. Hope
you get it all worked, I just dealt with my own
page demons awhile back as well, sheeesh, it's
wierd. |
