In what other collecting arena can three auctions
bring up the cost of certain characters within a
series? I won't be at all surprised if costs jump
a little on dealer sites. I think this person is
an newbie ebay nut first and foremost. If the
weren't, then they'd discover there are sites that
have similar cels available for a fraction of the
cost and also become aware that their overbidding
will only bite them in the butt. You think they
will ever make that money back?? Heck no, they are
paying peak prices. Let them pay em, you'll
probably see those cels in a few months back up on
ebay with the description "I probably paid way to
much for these".

I have a cel in my collection that was at one
point the victim of a bid war. It was on ebay
about a year prior to me aquiring it. And I
remembered it only because it stood out so badly.
(Incidently it was an auction that was discussed
on the forum several times) The person I bought if
from paid close to $1000 for it. I paid her 1/4
that.  She chalked it up to a newbie
mistake...like this person will at some point.
