The pictures are drawings illustrated by Hikaru 
Tanaka. From what I can tell the drawings contain 
no characters from the series. My own theory is 
that these drawings are depictions of adventurous 
women doing miraculous things, keeping in theme 
with the series. They could also be depictions of 
Melfina's dreams, which she brings up once or 
twice in the series.
