The only money order I ever had lost on it's way
to Taro was for the second to largest order I've
ever made with them. (I'm so glad Stephen is good
about replying to e-mails!!!!! ^_^;;) At the same
time that one got lost, a second one (sent on the
same day to a completely different Japanese store)
got lost as well and that happened to be the
single largest order I have put in to that store
too! O_o
Now if that isn't all bad enough, just the day
before I had sent a payment to Mangaya. . . Since
they're very slow to answer e-mails (and almost
never send an e-mail to let you know a payment
has arrived) AND they don't ship things too
quickly, I was **REALLY** worried that a whole
bag of stuff to Japan had been lost. . . And I
had no way to confirm if they had gotten the
money order or not. o_0
In total, I had to come up with almost $500 to
replace the lost money orders until I could be
reimbursed by the post office. ~_~ (Incidentally,
that payment to Mangaya DID make it there. ^_^
After a couple panicked e-mails, Han replied that
he had it. *WHEW!*)
Ever since this happened, I make sure to stagger
my payments to Japanese stores. That way if one
bag gets lost, it can't be the one that has
*everything* in it. ^_^;;
