Hello!

I have heard a few different reasons as to why 
there are no production Eva cels on the market 
(well, not many anyway) but I'm trying to find THE 
reason.  Here are the ones I have heard so far:

(1)  Gainax is storing them indefinitely
(2)  Gainax destroyed (burned) most of the cels

Any others were variations on these two.  So, 
what's the real reason?  Has Gainax ever addressed 
this issue publicly?  I'm just curious as to why 
the studio would not release these because it's a 
good source of extra revenue.  Was it something 
Anno wanted?
