Well, I own 2 of the hand painted Evangelion 
Repro cels, and yes they do commonly sell for 
around 150 dollars each. However, I managed to 
get both of mine off ebay, one for 109 dollars 
(Rei), and the other (of Misato) for only 36 
dollars! So yes, you can get these rather cheap, 
if you find the right source. These hand painted 
reproductions look even better than original 
production cels, because the acetate is 
absolutely crystal clear with no scratches, and 
the paint detail is flawless. 

Be careful though, I have seen some of these 
haind painted repros go for over 400 dollars on 
ebay! I would bid on the Shinji Cel if I were 
you. If you win it for less than 110 dollars, 
then you have saved yourself some cash.
