The TV series cels was done using cels. 
However, they were never officially released to 
the public. Instead they did a batch of seri cels 
and hand painted repros. However, a number of 
production cels have found there way onto the 
market. The price range on them is very variable. 
10-20 dollars for very low grade cels to over 2000 
dollars for some of the most prime cels. Most 
dealers have a few nadesico, but most are low 
grade images or very expensive.

I do not think cels were used for the movie, but I 
am not certain. I have not seen any movie cels for 
sale and I have been looking for them since the 
movie was first released.
