Hi Eric!
Well, I am very pro-learning-your-own-HTML, but
it can take a long time to cover enough ground to
make a good layout for a gallery. There is a
wonderful site that explains the basics of HTML
(and advanced techniques as well) at
http://htmlgoodies.earthweb.com, so if you have
any questions, I would refer there. The writer
makes it seem very easy, and I actually printed
out his tutorials when I was learning to code.
The good news is there is a site with very cool
layouts free for the taking! You can find it at
http://www.daydreamgraphics.com/. I designed my
gallery myself so I have never used this site,
but their graphics look great. I don't know how
much HTML you actually need to know to use it,
but my guess is not much. If you decide to use
one of their many layouts available, and you need
help (beyond the HTML tutorial page) feel free to
e-mail me!
I hope that gives you what you need. Good luck
with your gallery! I can't wait to see your
collection. ^_^
Ja!
