Here's the story:
My little dog Leo got his shots today. About an
hour after I brought him home, his eyes became
puffy, then he started scratching his face.
Within a few minutes, his cheeks were swollen. I
rushed him back to the pet hospital. It turned
out he had an allergic reaction to one of the
vaccines. They told me I brought him back just
in time. He was going into shock (his tongue was
blue!) and if I had gotten him there any later,
he might not have made it. He's okay and home
with me now, but I almost lost him.
Leo's always had breathing problems. His
nostrils are too narrow and he may have a
collapsed trachea. He needs surgery and I really
want to get it done and over with. I have not
brought Leo in to see the specialist his vet
recommended yet, so I don't know what needs to be
done, how much it will cost, if he allows
payments, or even if anything CAN be done to help
him. So if you've been eyeing something from my
collection, make your best offer. I may say no,
but if I do, I'll keep you in mind after I bring
Leo to the specialist. I may just take you up on
your offer when I find out how much I'll be
spending...
Thanks,
