I got this neat chibi Ryo-Ohki from a friend in 
Japan a while back, but one thing bugged me...she 
was an "amputee" cel (you know, a cel that's cut 
off and looks odd because it needs background 
elements to make it look right.) Well, I bought 
some watercolor paper and some paints, and set out 
to paint a copy of the background. I made a cel of 
the carrots, and then tried to copy the background 
(I had about 10 false starts, went through half 
the paper) but I finally got something that 
satisfied me. What do you think?
