Hi, everyone. I was wondering if anyone familiar
with the Hiromi Kato TnN! doujinshi could give me
some information relating to these books.
First off, let me make sure I have my facts
straight. Hiromi Kato was the character designer
for Tenshi ni Narumon (on a related note, is
Hiromi Kato a he or a she? Given some of his
other artwork, I'm assuming a "he," but I wanted
to verify. ^_^;). The pictures in the book are
genga that he drew. Would he have drawn genga for
the entire series? And, if so, I guess those
pictured in the books are just his favorites? Or
if not, the ones pictured in the books are the
ones he drew?
Second, the douga that is ultimately used to
create the cels would be drawn by the animators.
Would Hiromi Kato have drawn any of the douga? Or
did his role end with the genga? the reason I ask
is that some of the pictures in the books are
quite detailed, like they could have been used as
a douga. Then again, I also know that it can be
sometimes difficult to distinguish between a
douga and a genga.
Sorry if I sound so unenlightened. If anyone
could take the time to could enlighten me, I
would appreciate it! Although I must warn you
that I may have a follow-up question or two. ^_~
Thanks,
--rg, sometimes Melissa, but there are just too
many other Melissas on this board! ^_^ |
