I thought that I would pass on something I
learned from a few of my Japanese contacts.
Airmail between Japan and the USA has apparently
been suspended for a bit until things calm down.
This might possibly be a choice of the Japanese,
but is more likely due to the fact that
international planes still are being turned away
from US airports.
If you are trying to send things to Japan, don't
use airmail. EMS might make it through, but
sellers trying to send me things from Japan (even
by EMS) have been turned away and told the items
can't be sent yet.
I'm going to try to get payment though to a
seller. I'll report back to let people know if it
makes it through and how I did it if I can. In
the meantime, I suggest people try methods of
mailing *other* than airmail.
