To me, I think so.  Personally, I'd rather have an 
intact cel that is off centered than a cel that 
may be centered, but has been cut.

Sometimes I'll end up with a cel that was trimmed 
before I got my hands on it (I see it a lot with 
DBZ cels).  But I wouldn't think of ever trimming 
it myself.
