To those that speak fluent English, he was 
clearly joking...To those who do not speak it 
fluently, this can be seen as a rude remark. 
Micke is not a fluent English speaker - I believe 
most of what Micke writes is done through 
translation software. When this is translated in 
such a way, it is read literally. (Context isn't 
understood.) People should keep their audience in 
mind when writing something that may be 
misconstrued in such a way.
