The one on Yahoo Japan that we are speaking of right now, is hand-painted.  That is 
why they think they can get away with such ridiculous prices for them.  Why, people 
slaving over paint by number cels all day commands $2000 cels is beyond me..  
However, to each his own, they are very beautiful.  ^_^  

In Japanese and the first line in his/her description, it says:

Pronounced: ALRU HANDO PAINTO

That's *all hand paint* for you yanks out there.
