Sorry for the OT post, but since there are so 
many LU cel-fans on this forum, I thought 
this "inside" info might be appreciated :)

For those who haven't heard yet, The Last Unicorn 
has been released on DVD! I just got mine in the 
mail today and it is *fantastic*! The entire film 
has been cleaned up and really looks brand new. 
It's so beautiful.. 

I freaked out when I opened the package though, 
because the DVD comes with stickers! OMG, I'm a 
complete nutcase when it comes to stickers. *does 
the dance of joy* 

Of course, there's a downside. The DVD is Region 
2 PAL format (Not the USA Region 1 NTSC 
standard), so you'll need a region-free player 
for it if you live in North America. This is the 
only DVD copy of LU which has been released to 
date. It is still unknown whether or not a North 
American copy will ever be made.

If you want to get it, it's pretty easy. Just 
login to www.amazon.de and enter "einhorn" in the 
search box. You really do have to get it from 
the .de site. It's not available from amazon.com. 
(Or at least, it was not available when I tried 
to order earlier this week.)

The menus of the DVD are of course, entirely in 
German. There is an English and a German 
soundtrack.
